Running Coach · Zurich

Hi, I’m Katelyn

Former cardio-hater turned endurance lover.

I love exploring the great outdoors (on foot & on bike), while training for fast races and keeping my strength in the gym.

I combine my education in nutrition with 14 years personal training experience to help you feel and perform your best.

My background

From Kansas to Zurich

With quite a few other stops in between 🙂 I was born and raised in Kansas and went to K-State for Dietetics & Public Health Nutrition. Then I spend 4 years training people in Seattle. A year abroad in Vietnam really sparked my love for outdoor adventures. The following two years in Colorado and next 4 in Canada provided a playground for pushing my endurance limits, while still firmly identifying as a gym rat.

These days, I have my most balanced ratio of cardio to strength and currently enjoy chasing half marathon PRs, all day trail run/hikes in the Swiss Alps and hanging on to as much of my muscle mass as I can.

Background & Expertise

What I bring to your training

Certified Personal Trainer

Years spent under the barbell taught me how strong bodies are built — and how to keep runners injury-free through it.

Endurance Coaching

From the couch-to-5K nerves to marathon race plans, I build training that meets you where you actually are.

Race-Time Progress

Finishing is the first goal. Getting faster is the next one — and I love helping runners chip away at their times.

What Makes Me, Me

How I coach

Strength and endurance, together

I don’t believe in choosing one. The strongest runners are the ones who lift, and I bring both sides of the coin to every plan I write.

Every distance, every level

First-timers and seasoned racers get the same thing from me: a plan built for their body, their schedule, and their goal — no cookie-cutters.

Genuinely in your corner

I celebrate the small wins as loudly as the big ones. Your progress is the whole point, and I’m invested in every mile of it.

Sustainable over flashy

Training should fit your life, not swallow it. I build habits that last long after race day — so running stays something you love.
